You have the right to have your personal data deleted from Tobachat. This falls under the "right to erasure" (GDPR art. 17). Fill in your details below, or email us directly at info@tobachat.nl.
What happens after your request?
- We confirm your request by email within 2 business days, to the address on file for the account. This way we know the request comes from the account holder.
- We delete your account, contacts, chat history, and all associated data within without undue delay. It disappears from our backups as they are overwritten through the normal backup cycle.
- Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes, remains stored for another 7 years, limited to what the law requires for that purpose. Everything else is deleted entirely.
- Once your data has been deleted from our systems, we will let you know by email.
