We handle requests for data from authorities carefully, case by case. Here is how.
1. Submitting a request
Competent authorities can send a written, legally valid request to info@tobachat.nl, stating the authority, the legal basis and the specific data requested.
2. How we assess it
We verify that the request comes from a competent authority and has a valid legal basis. We only provide data when the law or a legally valid order obliges us to do so.
3. What we provide
Only the data that is strictly necessary and proportionate for the stated purpose, and nothing more.
4. Informing data subjects
We inform affected users about a request, unless the law or a valid order prohibits us from doing so.
