Costs

Two bills arrive. Ours is a fixed monthly amount for the platform. Meta's is per message you send. We put no markup on what Meta charges.

CategoryPer messageUsed for
Marketing€ 0.1323Promotions, offers, newsletters
Utility€ 0.0414Confirmations, status updates, reminders tied to a transaction
Authentication€ 0.0414Verification and login codes
Service€ 0.0414 after the first 1,000Replies inside the 24-hour window, per number per month

Who invoices what

Meta settles directly with you, through the payment method attached to your WhatsApp Business account. That money never passes through us.

We invoice the subscription and nothing else, with no markup on your message costs.

What sets the category

The rate depends on your template's category, which Meta sets during approval. You propose one, but Meta can change it. A confirmation that includes an offer becomes marketing.

Replies inside the 24-hour window count as service messages. The first 1,000 per phone number per month are free, so two numbers get 1,000 each.

What changes on October 1, 2026

Service messages used to be free without limit. From October 1, 2026 the first 1,000 per phone number per month are free and everything after that costs the same as a utility message.

To go past that 1,000 you need a payment method on your WhatsApp Business account. Without one, Meta stops at 1,000 service messages per number and picks up again next month.

About these amounts: these are Meta's rates for the Netherlands, excluding VAT. Meta can change them and publishes the current list. For a worked example of a full month, see our page on WhatsApp Business API costs.
